ANTI-RACISM
Our Anti-Racism Stance
Our organization is dedicated to doing our part to help dismantle systemic racism in our society, and we’re encouraging all fathers connected to Dad Guild to be a part of the solution as well. We recognize that we’ll be making plenty of mistakes along the way, and we’re always open to feedback, questions, and others’ perspectives as we engage in the work ahead. There is a tremendous amount of listening, learning, unlearning, awareness-building, and taking action ahead. Dismantling these problematic, violent, and oppressive systems requires collective action. Dads, we hope you will join us in the work ahead.
Anti-Racism Resources
Take control of your own learning
Members of Dad Guild have been sharing various resources on the topic of systemic racism, and have been engaged in active discussions. Depending on where you are in your journey of learning (and unlearning), here are some resources we all have found valuable and interesting. Have any suggestions? Please pass them along.
Many of the resources shared below were suggestions from a document of anti-racism resources, compiled by Sarah Sophie Flicker and Alyssa Klein.
